I have several propositions:
Name a date and time beforehead (at least a week from the post). So people who do not show up at that moment would be eliminated.
Tell us how long the tournament would take ( I mean one - two - more days)
Like every team play one match per day. It might take several days. Or every single team plays 2 or 3 matches a day or untill they are eliminated. It might take just a day. It is quite boring to wait your turn in 30 rounds 2x2 on a big map. So once per day might be good. You play, you get your results, you go back to life, the next day you play one match again. And like that untill you are eliminated or win.
I strongly suggest small aim_ map where you can only pick guns.
Tell if it would be single or double elimination (I can help with drawing diagrams for both).
If you don't allow people to pair up on their own, name the pairs. People here do not contact each other to find a teammate. Just pair up those who accepted to participate.
Decide what would you do if one person out of the pair do not show up.
Make a separate thread where you would post and edit results of the tournament (who is eliminated, the score of the matches, the upcoming matches and their dates, etc...) Concerning the server, I have admin on NY Main and some of match.
I can administrate the servers during matches.
I strongly prefer to play with my friend, if it is acceptable.
I would also be very happy to provide you with any help in organization you might need.
(that and the fact that using customs in a 2v2 is lmaobad)
