Ok so im new too counter strike i played my frist game yesterday on this server. But today when i tried too connect again im gettin this error
Couldn't find map maps/fy_snow.bsp, server will download the map
Invalid file type...skipping download of -----------------------------15890672924370--
sound/misc/monsterkill.
Im guessing i got too down load the map but shouldnt it of downloaded when i was connection. thanks

Well go to ur c-drive/programfiles/steam/steamapps/(urname)/countestrike/cstrike/maps n delete ur current file of fy_snow. then connnect to the server n u should be able to download it, or go to google n type (fy_snow download) n youl get a chance to download then paste in ur maps folder.

If ur non steam just open ur cstrike folder,maps n paste it ----------- or it could be ur valvefolder/maps...

Now its sayin your map version of de_nuke differs from the servers... Thanks for the other info. But how do i fix this new problem?

delete the old nuke and download a new one

dude, ANY problem with maps, the ONLY solution is to delete the map and download it again while getting in a server. Please keep that in mind.
